Ed Westcott was the official photographer for the city of Oak Ridge during World War II and the only person who was allowed to have a camera within the city limits. Chances are, if you see a picture when the city was secret, he took it. He is responsible for the video memory of the city, and he was hired at age twenty, the same age that I am now.
Ed Westcott has always been a hero of mine, and it was absolutely amazing and humbling to interview him for this project, especially considering the monumental impact he had on telling my family's history fifty years earlier.
