Progressive congressional candidate Mckayla Wilkes hosted a rally and voter registration event at the University of Maryland in College Park on Feb. 29, 2020.
Many of Wilkes's staffers and supporters are students at the college, including her campaign manager Dask Yeatts-Lonske.

Wilkes explains how her experience with the criminal justice system motivated her to run against incumbent Steny Hoyer.

Many of Wilkes's supporters are undergraduate students at the University of Maryland. Sophomore Sam Intrater (center) asked Wilkes for a selfie before the event began.

Campaign manager Dash Yeatts-Lonske opens up the floor for Wilkes. He and his girlfriend, Vivien Zhu, host the headquarters for the campaign at their off-campus house.

After the event, volunteers offered computers where visitors could sign up to vote or to canvas.

Aaron says that he's knocked on over 60 doors for Wilkes and wants to continue to do more.
